The handle and armrest are fully adjustable between 47.3 inches and 55.2 inches, making it easy to carry when spending a long day at the beach or in the woods. It’s perfectly capable of detecting metal up to 10 inches deep (or even deeper if you set the sensitivity higher and look for specific types of metal). It is perfect for a treasure-hunting expedition when you go hunting in a park or anywhere with dry sand.
It has a few flaws, though.
First of all, it struggles to detect small pieces of gold. Jewelry items like rings are easy to find, and the PK0075 works like a charm for those. However, when you start looking for anything smaller than that, you won’t have much luck unless it’s very close to the surface.
Another caveat is that it doesn’t work well over wet sand.
