1921 P wheat penny

Rarity: There are plenty of mint state 1921 P cents although it’s rare in circulated grades. You may even find fully red coins, but the coins of the best quality can be a challenge to find. Theses coins have quality issues, spotting and striking are quite the norm. The original rolls are impossible to find.

Facts about the 1921 Wheat Penny: The quality of most 1921 P cents are poor and dull. Unusual heavy die wear resulted in blurred peripheral elements such as the”In God we Trust” and “E Pluribus UiUm”.

1921 S wheat Penny

Rarity: The 1921 S Cent is quite rare. They were nearly non existent in circulation after the 1950’s. It’s scarce it lower grades and VF and higher grade pieces are s challenging to locate well struck and with original surfaces. You may be able to find average Mint State Coins, but above average cents are difficult to locate. The toning in this issue is poor.

Facts about 1921 S wheat Penny: These coins exist in mid to late dies, there is a soft quality to the design elements and lettering. Non-polished cents are a brassy color and have irregular streaks due to bad mixing of the metals. You might find many retoned and or cleaned issue in an attempt to correct this error.
