Facts about 1934 P wheat penny: This issue is typically well struck, although the dies are worn. The numeral 3 has a long, tail.

Cents of this date were made in very large numbers relative to those of previous years. The popularity of coin collecting increased as a result cents were widely hoarded.

As a result there are no rare US coins from 1934 onward.

Rarity: This issue is scarce. The quality is generally poor and worn. Original rolls may still exist.
